Bare Rooted Trees and Hedging

Fordham Nursery are able to offer an extensive range of quality bare rooted trees and hedging.

Bare rooted trees and native hedging plants are available from early November to the end of March (weather permitting).

Trees are usually available in various sizes from 180-210cm in height up to standards of 10-12cm in stem girth. We offer 2 year old transplants / seedlings sold in bundles of 25 or for larger quantities we offer a quotation service for more competitive prices

Recommended quantities for planting a hedge of bare rooted plants are for a staggered row of 5 plants to the linear metre. We recommend caning and tying young plants and using rabbit guards for protection if wildlife is a problem – all can be supplied with the plants.
